FAME information

While we will do our best to satisfy the individual needs of each school, it is not always possible to guarantee first choice of day/time/instrument. Instrument stock is limited (particularly brass band and wind band) and therefore will be assigned on a 'first come first served' basis.
Please note that the same instrument will be taught for the whole project with the exception of flute/fife, where the children may start off on fife and graduate to flute as and when the teacher feels it is appropriate.
FAME lessons are for one hour each week (45 minutes delivery).
For 2025-26, costs are, Full year programme cost per session: Mornings (to start before midday) £48, Afternoons (to start after midday) £54. Part year programme cost per session: Mornings £53, Afternoons £60.
Instruments for FAME are loaned free of charge.
FAME projects apply to a child's initial year of whole class instrumental tuition. Schools are able to purchase whole class projects that follow on from FAME, charged at our standard tuition rate and whole class project instrument hire rate.

Teaching days to exclude

Please list the dates for your school INSET/TED days, trips and school closures etc when it will not be possible for tuition to take place. Please note that for lesson cancellation we require 10 working days’ notice to be given in writing to info@severnarts.org.uk – see our Terms and Conditions for details.
