We are excited to be leading this in-person session for teachers in Herefordshire and Worcestershire on Exploring Percussion and Composing in the Primary School. This will be run by Sue Walker from Encore and Alison Virgo from Severn Arts and will help teachers feel more confident with using percussion instruments with their classes. We will discuss what is required from the National Curriculum with composing and improvising and will explore how this fits in with your scheme, whether that’s Sparkyard, Charanga, Sing Up etc. or your own scheme of work. It will be a fun, practical session and will equip teachers with knowledge and skills to take back into the classroom.
