Instrumental Music Teacher – Variable Hours (several posts) required for September 2019
£16.47 – £24.77 per hour
based upon FTE Salary of £20,558 – £30,909 (Sessional hourly rate is made up of 87.93{913d931ba24df5d18a5352e743b8b6b67026f6c89565359c68a956e14a1176be} Basic Hourly Pay Element and 12.07{913d931ba24df5d18a5352e743b8b6b67026f6c89565359c68a956e14a1176be} Holiday Pay Element).

All specialisms required but particularly ukulele, upper strings, brass and percussion and whole class ensemble tuition.

If you have achieved a high standard of performance on your first study instrument, are qualified to teach a range of instruments and/or conducting, passionate about teaching children and have high standards and a drive to succeed, Severn Arts would like to hear from you.

You should have experience of planning and delivering individual lessons, in small groups and/or in whole classes, successfully motivating and engaging pupils to advance through recognised examinations and achieve the progression they are capable of.

Working in schools across the county, you will also need to demonstrate a flexible working approach and an ability to create excellent working relationships with parents and guardians, pupils and schools.

There is an occasional requirement to work evenings and weekends where necessary to support the performance opportunities for pupils.
