With over 1,300 pieces of orchestral and chamber music and more than 450 different works of choral music the library’s collection is an invaluable resource for orchestras, choirs, festivals, schools and universities.

Music Library Membership
Before you borrow any items from the library, we ask that you sign up to our membership. To do this we just ask you to email your contact details to [email protected]. Please include your name, address, email, phone number and musical organisation (if applicable). We will then make you a member.
How do I borrow items from the library?
If you would like to borrow a piece of music, or have an enquiry please email [email protected] with your request. As well as telling us the music you would like to borrow, we also need to know when it is required, for how long and the number of copies or parts that you need. We will get back to you at the earliest opportunity to confirm your request and make arrangements with you for collection or delivery.
Alternatively, you can visit us in person. The Music Library is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 – 4pm. Please email [email protected] to arrange a visit. Messages can be left on the Elgar School of Music answer-phone 01905 28613 extension 4, if you do not have access to email.

About the Music Library
Worcester Music Library is run by a team of volunteers with extensive knowledge of the collection. Membership is drawn from across the UK, from Truro to Aberdeen. The library is managed by Elgar School of Music, and works in partnership with the English Symphony Orchestra, Elgar Chorale and Severn Arts.
